Hey Everyone!!!
New Smack is done and it's fucking AWESOME!!!
We are very very happy with how this record turned out, and it looks like it will be sometime in april when we release it. If i had to describe it in 3 words, i'd say TOUGH - RAW - AND AGGRESSIVE. No ballads on this one. Sorry girls.
Time to strap on your combat boots and get ready for a good ass whippin'!!
As for now, i'm going to take some time to rest and vacation before we start hitting the road in May.
This record was a lot of work, but the results i feel are the best we've done yet. I really hope you all like this record.
It seems to be what the Core of the Godsmack fans want from us. So you got it!!!
SOLO RECORD is also coming this year. Looking like an August release for the entire CD.
This record is by far the best music i've ever written, and i really look forward to all of you hearing it. And i really look forward to introducing Lisa Guyer (my singer on this record) to all of you. Girls, you are gonna love her voice. AMAZING!!!
I put everything i know into this record and it is truly a timeless, beautiful piece of art. Completely opposite of what Godsmack does, but nevertheless, very beautiful record. So when you're not in the mood to crank up and drive 100 mph, this is the record you're going to want to put on when you need to just zone out and enjoy some wine and candles. Have fun with it!!
I will keep you all posted as we get closer to releasing it. But what i know for now is, the first single titled:
"THE DEPARTED" will be coming out in March attached to a movie called "SOLOMON KANE".
And then the follow up single titled "SINNER'S PRAYER" will be attached to the new Sylvester Stallone movie called, "THE EXPENDIBLES". I believe that single should hit radio by July with the release of the movie and the entire solo record in August.
That's all for now. Time for some peace and relaxation for a month.

Four days ago officially, Roxy (Changed her name from Paris) entered my life. She is a Pug dog filled with enthusiasm beyond belief. For some of you, my un-forgettable passion with that I have for the Pug breed is of that of a human. I love her. |

It is SO cold outside. I had a pretty decent New year's celebration. Joe Mancuso had an awesome party. I had no idea what happened the next day. Tons of alcohol, tons of old and new friends. Awesome night.
I just got done ice skating. I askated for about an hour and a half, and I'm making this my weekly routine once a week. Maybe I should look for a really nice pair of ice skates?

Now I'm about to watch myself take a shower. Whooo! Maybe some 'It's Always SUNNY' after that. . .Definetly some hot cocoa!

Matisyahu live the other night was rediculous. An Eight minute beat-box, Two stage dives, A sick set-list, and love in the air. Kosha Dillz. He is one of my favorite artists, and I can't stop listening.
Sabres game on Friday, I am seriously stoked for this one!!
It's snowing like a Mother! I think it's that time of year do to some quality ice skating, and hopefully I'll be good enough to join a hockey team.

Helo Lj. Coronoa is delicious. Beyond any words. I am uploading music onto my phone. And drinking Coronas. But before I upload music to my phone, I need to rip CD's to my hard drive. Or download music illegally and have a very un-organized folder of music. Either way, for the amount of music I currently have on my computer, It's probably a good idea to purchase a larger memory card for my phone. 5+ hours of music on my phone is something I really do like! haha
Florida is definetly happening soon. I can now fully enjoy that DAY, when I know I will be in complete bliss, driving countless hours towards beauty. This is what I have been looking for my whole life. A new journey to seclude myself with.
I cannot wait for this week to be over, and I cannot wait for the holidays, yet alone 2010. |
